Protecting Form

Since I couldn't find a discussion group that had a theme about forms and
fields, I thought I'ld try here first. If this is the wrong place, would
someone point me in the right direction? Thanks.

I have a form that uses text form fields. Even though the form is protected,
when text is entered into the fields, text on the same line are forced to
scroll to the right. How can I fix this problem?

Use a borderless table, with the column width set to Fixed and, if
necessary, with the row height set to an exact value.

For the column width (assuming Word 2003 or earlier) select the column(s)
and click Table > AutoFit > Fixed Column Width.

For the row height, select the row(s) and click Table > Table Properties >
Row. Check the box on the left, enter the desired height, and change the
right-hand box to Exactly.
