Protecting pictures in Word 2003

I recently upgrade from Office XP to Office 2003. In previos version I had documents with picture of my signature. I used to go tools and then protect and protect the whole document. When sending the document the recipient was able to open de document and to print it but was not allowed or able to change, copy, edit, etc part or the whole document. Now with 2003 version when I protect the document people can copy my signature (picture file) and paste it anywhere else. How do I protect the whole document so no one can edit or copy part of it or the entire document in another file
