Is there a way in frontpage to protect your picture so if somebody tries to
save it using right click on the mouse a pop up appears saying that the
picture is copyright,If not in frontpage is there a way to do it using other
programmes.

Ok.. going easy...

Log onto your web site via FTP or FP.
Select ALL your images
Press DELETE

Right click protection does nothing to protect your images and nothing
you can do can stop people getting it (Just pressing "Print Screen" on
your keyboard and pasting into any program will bypass anything you can
think of).

If you don't want people to get your images the ONLY way of preventing
it is not to upload them in the first place.

This question is repeatedly asked, just search for image copy protection
in google groups to see the thousands of posts about this.

Hahaha, you are correct.

Also not to forget that disabling-right click can easily be worked around.
There are many other options in windows to perform that same right-click
action without actually right-clicking.

Dear "Oli"

Does this help?

In Page View, click where you want to insert the below script
(usually in an area of white space - bottom of the page should
do!).

Then go to: Insert | Advanced | HTML. Now copy and paste
the script into the box field.

Next go to Preview (sometimes called FrontPage Explorer), and
try to right-click. Did it work?

<p align="center">
&nbsp;</p>
<SCRIPT>function click() {if (event.button==2) {alert('Copyright
Protected.');}}document.onmousedown=click// - -></SCRIPT>
</body>

Hope so!

Best,
Andy

P.S. In the script where it reads 'Copyright Protected', you can insert any
text
you like. However, like the others say, it's no cure-all. But at least it's
better
than nothing.

That still won't stop people getting the images but I just thought...
can't you just type the domain name right across each image? It would be
too much of a pain for people to sit there trying to remove the name
from every image.

Just an idea.
