Protection or permissions in OFFICE 2003

Is it possible to protect an OFFICE 2003 document so as to
prevent it from being copied in any way and prevent it
from being printed?

Not if you want anyone to see it. If it can be viewed it can be printed. The
best option is to use the (rather expensive) Adobe Acrobat tool and save in
PDF format, with security options set to prevent printing/copying, but a
determined user could get round this. There is an example on the Downloads
