I am an attorney and have used Microsoft Word since Word for Windows 3.11.
We have certain courts which require file submissions in Word Perfect, and I
used to convert and/or save them in Word Perfect format to satisfy these
requirements. In Word 2003, I cannot save a Word file as a Word Perfect
file. I know this option used to be available, so is this another of Mr.
Gates' attempts to coerce the buying public into using only Microsoft
products? If so, it's backfiring, because I have purchased Word Perfect
Office in order to be able to open and save Word files in Word Perfect, and
if this continues to be a problem, I may switch permanently to Word Perfect.
