Provide credit card recharge facility

C

Microsoft Office Accounting (both Express and Professional) do not provide a
facility to recharge credit card charges. This is a standard feature for ALL
credit card providers, certainly here in the UK, and probably elsewhere in
the world.

I am using MOA 2009 Professional, on Windows Server 2003. This issue has
been present since the first release of MOA 2008.

I don't have 2009, but maybe if you take a look at debit card rather
than credit card, you may find the answer to your question and the
terminology that is used on the MS side of the pond. :)

Thanks for your reply.

Unfortunately, a debit card is NOT a credit card. There are always different
conditions that apply to debit cards. First of all, a debit card is directly
attached to a bank account, and therefore ALL charges get debited to the
attached bank account immediately. A credit card, (and the card I am
operating is a Business Card) accumulates charges (and credits) throghout the
charging month, at the end of which, the total sum is paid off, or the
minimum charge, leaving a balance on which interest is charged. A Business
Card does NOT normally allow partial payment of the monthly charges.

So far as I am aware, the above is not any different in the UK to the method
applying in other non-EU countries.

Perhaps I missunderstand what you mean by 'recharge facility'
I'm your side of the pond & I have a business cc on which all monthly
charges do not have to paid in full at the payment date, they are thereby
c/fwd to the next charging period and interest is added.
I also have a business charge card which has to be paid in full (supposed to
be under the T&C's)
BTW the UK accounting group is; microsoft.public.uk.moa
