Providing Logon info for a Linked Table use Db2 in Access

Good Day All,


I am currently trying to create a Program that will allow the User Id and
Password to be passed to the link, so a Userid table can be created and
maintained instead of having the link stored when you make the connection.
This would allow the Admin Update the Logon info Table links with the New
passwords as we currently are not able to get a Non-expiring password. Does
anyone have any Ideas on how to make this happen ?

For Example, I have a Linked table called Test1, I have several Queries that
use this table and the first time they run the Query they are prompted for a
User id and password, any subsequent uses of the linked table does not
require the Logon info to be provided as it appears it is stored until close
of Database
