PS 2003 - Delay in publishing, yet no backup in ViewDrop

Hello,

I am using Project Server 2003. I added some new tasks to a project
plan in Project Pro 2003. I then published the project plan; however,
the changes are not appearing in the Project Center in PWA. There are
no files backed up in the ViewDrop folder. I tried all four
publishing options (All Information, New and Changed Assignments,
Project Plan, Re-Publish Assignments). I am using the default Tasks
Summary view in Project Center.

Any suggestions on diagnosing this delay?

I stopped and started Views Notification, and now publishing in
Project Pro instantly updates PWA. However, I still don't know why
this happened, or where all the prior publishing disappeared to.

Any thoughts?

Hi Andy,
As to why it happend, well, that's just computers for you.
As to the old publishing, check the view drop folder for any outstanding
files. I suspect you will have just lost it though. Republishing all
assignments for each Project should sort you out.
