PS07-Default Assignment Owner

Ok, I guess I am confused about how the Default Assignment Owner should work.
I was under the impression that if I set the Default Assignment Owner field
to a different resource who would update tasks on behalf of another resource,
that the
Default Assignment Owner would receive the task information in "My Tasks"
and they would just update the task; However, with many failed attempts this
is not happening. The Default Assignment Owner's are not receiving any tasks
for the resources they were assigned.

Am I doing something wrong?

Since you didn't describe your attempts, I'll just take a shot in the
dark: if you changed the default assignment owner after you've already
made assignments to the resource in question, then the Assignment Owner
on existing assignments will not be automatically changed. You'd need to
go into each project and change the "Assignment Owner" field for each
assignment for that particular resource.
