PS2007 and SP2007

Hi Kathy S,

Simply put, "Yes" (assuming you are deploying in an existing SharePoint 2007
farm). Most customers find this a little OTT from MS, therefore they decide
to deploy PS2007 in a new farm (hence reducing licencing costs) - it will
depend on what infrastructure you would like to use from your existing 2007
farm.

I can honestly say

"DON'T DO IT"!!!

Adding PS to the SP farm just makes your life a living hell, standard MOSS
backups no longer work, SSP restores dont work... Its jsut a mess.

If you try to post a question on technet in the SharePoint section, and make
any mention of project server, Mike Walsh will kick your question into the
"off-topic" section.

Its just a bad idea.

but thats just my opinion.....

I never said that you couldn't do it...

I personally recommended not to, not only for the cost, but for your sanity.

Premier support will toss you back and forth between Project server support,
and MOSS support teams... And my Mike Walsh comment below stands...

It can be done, but unless you like the problems I have outlined, I
recommend against it.

But do as you like.
