PS2007 - Queue shows all jobs waiting to be processed for 24+hrs

Maurizio

I have been trying to Force check in about 6 projects that the PM's were
working on while they were on Project Pro making some updates. The issue is
that after they made their changes and saved these changes Project Pro
crashed. As a result, this file is shows as being checked out in another
session and won't allow that PM to open the file as a working file, but as a
read-only.

Any assistance is greatly appreciated!
Thanks,

Hi Maurizio,

You probably need to cancel all jobs in the queue relating to this
project. Even the force check in goes through the queue, so if this
project is blocked from further processing due to a failed/blocking
job, even the force check in won't go through. Try this:

<NOTE: This process will cause data loss if there is project data
that didn't get saved because it was stuck in the queue. You'll be
able to see if that was the case by following the below steps and
examining the unprocessed jobs after step 2.>

1. Go to the Manage Queue page.

2. In the Filter Type, select "By Project"

3. Expand the Advanced Options section and put checkmarks in
both boxes.

4. Click the Refresh Status button in the grid (here is where
you would look for unprocessed Save jobs if you're concerned about
data loss)

5. Find the job that is in "Failed and Blocking Correlation"
state, or there might be one in "Getting Enqueued" state. Put a
checkmark next to any of these jobs that are in either of these
states.

6. Hit the Cancel Jobs button.

7. Now go do your force check in and it should work.

Hope this helps,

Regards,

Kevin Watson
