PSP Images in Word 2003

I have inserted a Corel PSP image into a Word 2003 document and it displays
just fine. However, is it only able to render the image because of PSP on
my machine? If I send the Word document to someone without PSP will they be
able to see the image?

The PSP extension file is from Paint Shop Pro and is their proprietary
format. I would strongly recommend that you convert the file in the Corel
program to one that would be more industry standard (a simple Save As will
work) such as a .jpg, .png, .wmf, or even .bmp. That way you would be sure
that they can use the file. I have PSP program in several versions and
always use the feature that allows to set the default to the last file type.
That way I don't inadvertently save a file as PSP, which is again,
non-standard format.
