WhatWasIthinking

First I apolgize this is my second post, the first is buried in a thread and
I'm afraid no one will see it.

I had office 2007 trial on my windowsxpSP2 computer and uninsalled. My
previous version 2000 will not read the files I created in 07.

Also upon uninstalling 07trial version it took my email program and all my
email with it. I had to reinstall but lost everything and now the program
will not save passwords.
Any suggesions on this also are appreciated

Thank you.

It is poor netiquette to multipost, and more so to do it under different
usernames. It is also poor netiquette to hijack someone else's question
for your unrelated problem, which is what you did in your first post.

In your first post two hours ago, you said you have Office XP and
Publisher 2002. Now you say you have Office 2000 and Publisher 2000.
Which is the truth, and which is a lie?

You should be able to open your three Publisher 2007 files in Publisher
2002 or 2000 if you install the 2007 compatibility pack. See
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=923505 "How to install the Microsoft
Office Compatibility Pack so that you can use earlier versions of Excel,
PowerPoint, and Word to open and to save files from 2007 Office programs".

Your Outlook 2002 or 2000 .pst file was probably converted to an Outlook
2007 .pst file when you installed Office 2007. The Outlook 2007 .pst
file should still be on your hard drive even after uninstalling Office
2007, but previous Outlook versions won't be able to open it. You need
to find someone with a functional copy of Office 2007 and have that
person copy the data from your Outlook 2007 .pst file to an Outlook
97-2002 .pst file, and then you can open the latter in Outlook 2002 or
2000. See http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=830336 "The .pst file has
a different format and folder size limit in Outlook 2007 and in Outlook
2003" for more information.

I take back what I said about the Office 2007 compatibility pack and
Publisher files. You'll need to find someone with a functional copy of
Publisher 2007 and have that person save your Publisher 2007 files in
2000 format for you.
