Pub 2003 Character Spacing menu

I notice on the Pub 2003 Character Spacing menu there are a lot of
features regarding
spacing. Are these applied to the whole text (as in a Select All
and Apply fashion) and which do you think will make the text look more
professional? I'm using Palatino Linotype for my book. What are some
of the
best professional looking book fonts?

This isn't really a Publisher issue. I'm sure there are MANY resources
available on the web for what font to use for books. And no matter which one
we said, it would still be personal opinion.

Do yourself a favor - hit Google. Do some research on the subject. I'm sure
there are some interesting sites out there. You could probably do a book on
that subject alone. ;-)

(If you do, I want a small cut for planting the seed.)
