Public Folder calendar items are not showing up on workstations

We setup a calendar on our Exchange server in the Public Folder. We made one
user the owner and gave author (visible, create and read) rights to five
other users.
All the users have Office 2003. Some of the machines are Windows XP and
Windows 2000. Of the five users only one can see the items in the public
folder other than the owner. All machines have the latest updates and
service packs. We gave two of our techicians the same author rights on
Windows 2000 machines and both could see all the items in the calendar. Does
this sound like a problem with our Exchange server?
