Public Folder shortcut on Desktop?

Is it possible to place a shortcut on the desktop pointing to a particular
folder within Public Folders?

This works great for my regular folders, but I can't seem to get it to work
for any of my public folders. Here's the path I'm trying to get to "Public
Folders --> All Public Folders --> Employee Directory"

Any suggestions?

select the folder and show the web toolbar - copy the path from the address
field. use that with the select switch. (use just the folder path, not
outlook You may need to use quotes around the path.
