Public Mailbox with Project Info

I would like to have an active mailbox available to employees or a select few that contains email correspondence for a particular project. This mailbox needs to be a folder on our projects server with the other assorted project information.

What is the best way to accomplish this?

A mailbox and a folder on a projects server are two different things.

Thank you. I would like to have a folder on the projects server that contains a mailbox for particular project related emails that I would like to be available to my team of several people.

Unless your projects server is also a mail server, it can't have a mailbox
on it. Is there any reason why you can't just use a mailbox on your normal
mail server?
