Publish a portion of a website?

Lawrence E. Oliver

Odd question I know!

However, I have a website on the genealogical server Rootsweb. In the
directory of my website, there is also another directory which is a related
website, but not part of my website. It is not a sub-web or anything that I
have control of. I have to use FTP to publish my site since there are no FP
Extensions on the Rootsweb servers. When I try to publish my site, it wants
to either copy the directory into my website or asks me if I want to delete
the directory. At the moment, I have to update my site file by file.

Is there any method of publishing just my website and ignoring the other
directory.

I am using FP2003.

With FrontPage 2003, you can specify which files and/or folders to publish.

Or, you can publish to a FP Extensions site for $3 to $5 per month without
the extra FTM problems.

Kevin -

Thanks for the info - as I am a novice, where are the commands for this and,
will it prevent FP2003 from trying to delete/copy that other folder.?

Even as I wait for an answer, I am looking through the FP2003 Inside/Out
book. :)
