Publish / Connection Issue

I have been unable to publish from FP2002 for the past 5 days. I am getting
the following message whenever I try to publish: 500 l won't open a
connection to 10.0.0.2 etc..

I downloaded windows updates just prior to trying to publish, so maybe that
could be related.

I can't find any reference to this message on the microsoft web site. You
would think they could post a manual out here to help with their own error
messages.

Also, my web host isn't responding to the problem, which is another issue.

Any help would be appreciated

10.0.0.2 is an internal IP address.

Is this web on a LAN, or a public server.??

If a public server, open it in Internet Explorer and then click File > Edit with FrontPage.

That "should" reset the URL FrontPage uses for the site.

I received the same error this evening, here is the entire text of the
message:

500 l won't open a connection to 10.0.0.2 (only to 207.206.222.71)
500 Unknown command
