Publish inserted project from temporary master gantt

Hi,
I created a temporary master gantt though the Edit option on the project
center.
I tried to publish an inserted project from temporary master gantt & I had
to save & publish the master gantt before I could publish the inserted
project.
When saving, I don't have to save the temporary master gantt. If I close the
master gantt without saving, a pop up asks me if i'd like to save the sub
projects & I did.
Does anyone know how to publish the inserted without having to publish the
master? It is only temporary & I do not wish to save/publish it on server.
