Did you actually create a web File | Web, or just pages. If you actually
created a web, did you File | Open web in FP before trying to publish?

You must have a web / site open in order to publish.

You still should be able to FTP the pages to the website. But probably you need to publish it to your hard drive first or close all pages and then do a "Open Site" from the File Menu and navigate to where you saved the pages, then load the "Site" back into front page. You should be able to publish then.

I may have gotten that mixed up, you need to create a web site from FP on your hard drive first. Default is C:\My Documents\My Webs\My Site. Then load the pages you created and publish them to the site you created on your hard drive. If you don't have FP Extensions enabled on your harddrive, you will need to publish to file system only. That will create your website, then you can load it back into FP and publish to a server online that has FP Extensions enabled.
