Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Is there an equivalent to the PUBLISH "Package for CD" in MS office for the MAC version?

In the Save As dialog click the link 'Learn more about file formats' to
determine which option best suits your need & intent. Burn the resulting
file to a CD or DVD using the OS X burn facility or separate utility app.

The Windows menu command "Package for CD" is not explicitly included in the
Mac version because of OS differences plus the fact that it includes the
PowerPoint Viewer which isn't available for the Mac OS.

The Windows Publish for CD is a variant of File > Save As > PowerPoint
Package on the Mac.

Both do pretty much the same thing: Create a new folder that contains a
copy of your presentation, copies of linked media, and then the links
are fixed within the presentation so they are relative links to the
media within the folder.

On the Mac, insert your blank CD before doing the save to package. When
prompted, choose Finder. Then, in PowerPoint use the Save As Package
feature and navigate to the CD to save your package folder on the CD.
Right-click on the CD and choose Eject to burn your CD.
