Hi
Normally, you would add a new field to the timesheet view which would would
be visisble in the timesheet immediately albeit with no information and no
means of adding any
The Project Owner can then open the project to be published ... go to tools
customise published fields and add them to the fields in the tasks view -
optinally setting them to be updatable by the team members
The Project Manager would then republish the assignments
Collaborate > Publish > Republish Assignments
The columns would then be populated for that project
That is the process ... if the project manager can not see the fields in
tools > customise > published fields ...
Either - they done exist
or he is not connected to the Project Server
They are visible to him as soon as they are created and saved in the
Enterprise Global - they can not be hidden from him.
