You may want to;
1. Open your web
2. Open a new page
3. Save the page
4. Now create your links, etc. - Why didn't I think of that...?

The concept of a Front Page web is that everything that
will eventually wind up on the website hosted by your web
service provider is contained within that Front Page disk
based web. Everything else on your PC is considered
outside your web.

Thus any hyperlinks you create while developing your web
will point to the location of those files when you create
the hyperlink. The links you are finding that point to
your C drive are outside your Front Page disk based web
and thus that is where they will point.

With all of this said, you must import any files you wnat
to eventually appear on your server based web into your
Front Page disk based web prior to creating the
hyperlinks and things will work as you expect.

I hope this helps you out.

Hi Paul,

Are you opening a web when you first start FP? If not, then the links will
be absolute links pointing to your HD as that is the only reference
possible.

Did you actually have a web open while working on it, or just a page open
without first opening the web at File | Open Web?

Thanks for the help guys. When I open my frontpage it automatically opens with the last web I was working on. Looking from your comments it looks like I'm going to have to manually edit all my links, over 600, to get it to work properly unless someone can come up with a quick fix and save my weekend.

Thanks in Advance

Paul
