Publisher 2000 and PhotoPaint

I created a brochure using the captioned programs. I
experienced several problems during saving and print
attempts. Publisher created temp versions as it would not
save; when trying to print photo point error
occurred "photopnt.exe instructions @0x77f585c0 referenced
memory @ 0x001c1000. Memory could not be written"

My OS is WinXP, AMD 1700, 384mb DDR memory.

The programs have a conflict, but I am unable to ID, any
suggestions? Thanks.

When you get this type error it usually means you need an updated printer driver.
Have you tried in safe mode? Disable your printer before opening Publisher, if it
works then go to the manufacturer's web site and get the newest driver.
