Publisher 2000 convert newsletter to pdf file for use on Apple Mac

I edit/write a newsletter for small charity use Pub 2000. A graphic designer
who uses |Apple Mac has offered to redesign layout for free. I've tried
attachment, copying to cd and pdf file none of which he could open.

Is it possible to convert it for use on Apple MAc?
This would be a great boost to the charity if I could get it to work.

Any help in simple language please would be appreciated.

A brief Google search for "Microsoft Publisher for Mac" indicates that there
is no such thing. This probably means that the designer would have to
redesign the layout on a/your PC with Pub 2000 in order for you to be able to
continue to edit your newsletter in the future. Hopefully, someone more
knowledgeable here can offer other options.

PDF files can be viewed on Macs. If you've converted your publication to
a PDF that opens in Adobe Reader on the PC then it should be viewable on
the Mac; if it fails to open, then the problem is on hte other end. This
will not be editable by the Mac user.
