Publisher 2000 Mail Merge Probs

When I try to do mail merge between Pub 2000 and Excel
2000 I get an error message tha t says : The data source
you have chosen contains more than one worksheet or table.
Pls enter the name of the worksheet or table you wanr to
merge. the problem is that the Excell file I am using
does not have multiple worksheets. I can not proceed with
my merge. Can anyone help?

Update your MDAC Components from www.microsoft.com/data
and if that does not work, then export your Excel Spreadsheet by doing a
SAVE AS in CSV (Comma Separated Values) and use that as your merge file.
