I have been using various versions of Publisher for several years and I
consider that I understand it pretty well, plus I was trained as a
typesetter, had my own typesetting business, and trained typesetters before
I retired, so I know a little bit about the subject. However, Publisher tabs
really drive me mad.
As I have indicated, I am currently using Publisher 2000 and when trying to
make alterations in a column of tabular matter, like adding a new line of
copy, every time I commence a new line the program will insist on entering a
new tab for me, when I don't want one.
I find this inability to do what I want to do, not what the program THINKS I
want to do, extremely frustrating. (It happens in other parts of the program
as well, I know.) Often, the only way I can find to overcome this phobia, is
to completely reset the part I am trying to change and then drop it in place
when it is finished. Surely, there must be a better way of doing this?
Any help would be appreciated.
