Publisher 2000

Having just cleaned my vista OS and started to re-load programmes, I realise
that my copy of Publisher 2000 is an Upgrade which I loaded onto Publisher
97. Needless to say that has now gone. Is there anyway I can load 2000 again?
I still have the ID for 97 setup. Has anybody out there got an old copy they
no longer require.

You need the disks for a qualifying product if you really want to use that
software. (My suggestion: Do yourself a favor - get a newer version.)

Please note that the upgrade version of Microsoft Office 2000 Standard will
search your hard disk for a copy of a previous version of Microsoft Office,
Works, Works Suite, Word, WordPerfect, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, or Project
before installing. Certain Lotus and Novell products also qualify.

JoAnn,

I think it is conceivable that the OP really wants Publisher 2000, as it
seems to be the best version for creating websites (although not the best
application).

Don,
Thanks for the info. I was trying not to buy a new version or 97 as I use it
so infrequently. I will however consider your advice or, maybe bit the bullet
and go for JoAnn's suggestion. Thanks again.

Any old version of Office will qualify for an upgrade for Publisher 2000. Give
it a try. You don't have to install the Office program, just point to the CD
when prompted.
