publisher 2002 re-install

I've recently tried installing Publisher 2002 on my new
PC, can't activate through the internet because it
apparently recognizes the fact that I used it on
my "thrown away" old computer. So, trying to activate by
phone (talking to a tech rep in person) I have found that
the phone number given to me (888-652-2342) by the
activate screen inside publisher is no longer a good
number. Is there a current number I can call to activate
Publisher 2002?

Try updating to Publisher SP1 and/or SP2 from http://office.microsoft.com -
that may update the phone number
However, I sincerely doubt that the number given to you doesn't work
