Publisher 2003 can't see installed fonts

Publisher 2003 cannot see/use fonts I know are installed, bvecause they
appear and can be used in Word 2003 on same machine. I have changed
printers, no luck. Have deleted and 'installed' (not copied) problem fonts
twice. Fonts do not appear in Font selction drop down. When pasting font
from word, message says font unavailable, reason unknown, and asks to
substitute another font. Problem font MV Old Style, regular, italic, bold,
bold italic.

Try a different printer driver.

Are you creating a web page? There are a limited amount of fonts available for web
pages. I think it is eleven.

I am not creating a web page. It is just a plain ol' Publisher publication,
a blank page if you will...

Try TweakUI, it is a PowerToy, it has a font folder repair utility.
I don't know why you cannot use all the fonts in Publisher. There are times when
folks have a font manager, this will happen. The association is broken.
