publisher 2003 can't upload site Please Help

Greetings,
I have tried to upload my 2003 publisher website for 4 hours. I know how to
use ftp, I know how to use http due to the wonderful directions I found
through this website. When I use FTP I get 'Publisher could not save the
fiel to the Web. Check your URL or network connection'. I check them and
they are fine. When I use HTTP the programs stops responding, the page goes
white and this can be verified by ctrl alt delete and you can clearly see the
writing not responding. After I get it shut down I get a error report.

Any ideas? I had a similar battle with Microsoft Word not working because of
C:\DOCUME~1\LOCALS~1\andrea\Temp\appcompat*.* files that I have to
constantly use programs run %temp% to keep that clean and word operational.
But when I try to delete those files listed above it says it can't.
I have followed the trouble shooting list and checked it very carefully and
can't find and of those things being the problem. Thanks for reading and

You can open the appcompat.txt in WordPad, it will give you a clue what is going on.
It maybe as simple as repairing Internet Explorer.

Thank you Mary. How do I do that? I haven't worked in wordpad before. And
how do you repair Internet Explorer?

You could open the .txt document in Word as well as WordPad.
You need far more intelligent help than I can give. There is a Publisher webdesign
newsgroup.
