Publisher 2003 font problems

I have Office 2003 and in Publisher I cannot see certain fonts that I know
have been "installed" on my computer. I can see/use them just fine in Word
2003 on same machine, but in Publisher message says font is not available and
substitutes another font. Have deleted and reinstalled 'problem' fonts
twice. Font family is MV Old Style - need all four to work - regular, bold,
italic, and bold italic. Any ideas appreciated!

Try a different default printer.

Mary - I am assuming you mean to have me change my default printer to a
different one in my Printers folder. I will try it.

Mary - this did not work. I changed to a different printer as Default and
the same message appeared - font unknown and not available, even though they
are visible and usable in Word. I cannot select them from the Font list in
Publisher, either.
