Publisher 2003 gradients

Hi. What has happened to the shaped gradients that were
available in earleir versions of Publisher? I can't find
tham in Pub 2003. Can anyone help, please?

along with a substantial number of other excellent features they have
removed from different versions.

I am mortified and disgusted that mortals like you question the decisions

The gradient effects in Publisher are endless, with tons of colors etc.

But they're not as extensive in terms of shape as in previous versions of
Publisher.
They're limited to fit the current shape - so you can't put a heart gradient
into a square, etc.
