Is it possible to number the pages in a Publisher document starting from
a specific page number (eg Page 35).

If it's possible, how do you do it? The help files don't...

TIA

Works fine! Thanks for that. Now... How does Publisher handle footnotes,
or should my friend be working in inDesign or similar?

Footers and footnotes are two very different things.

Footnotes must be done manually in Publisher if at all.
