Publisher 2003 Web Pages don't link correctly in IE

Barb

Hello all,

I have converted a 3 page publisher document to a series of web pages, and
the navigation elements don't work properly in IE, though they work perfectly
in Navigator and Mozilla (those are the only other two browsers I've tried)
Clicking on the "next" button in IE causes the browser to hang on a blank
page. Has anyone else had this problem with IE? The website is
www.gscrc.org. The button is "training" and click on "click here for the
Spring 2005 Training Calendar"

Thanks for any insight you can give me on this -

I tried it and it worked for me. It did hang on a white page for about 2
seconds, but then it worked.

Wow - what an excellent website you have. I learned more reading the first 5
paragraphs that I probably did in all my 5 years of web design! (Not really,
but close). Just a note about the frames - the publisher document that I
converted is an actual publication put out by our council - we try to make
the web version exactly the same as the hard copy version, in the interest of
consistency. I usually wind up having to adjust the text and rework it so
that it all displays, but it just wouldn't be the same without the frames. I
will address the embedded spaces - I will laugh if that turns out to be it!

I did not repro this issue with my IE 6.1.
I did notice that you are using embedded spaces in your URL's.
That is a very bad idea, and may be related to your issue.
Refer to my article at

Also I noted you are using frames. Which is another bad idea and can
contribute to endless issues.
