Hi

I have a text/font problem that is driving me to distraction.

I have a text box with a blue backing of colour #336699. The font I am
using is White colour, Eras Medium ITC and 36 point in size.

I want to have a shadow and clicked on Format>Font and ticked the box
"Shadow". It works and there is a shadow under the text but it is Grey and I
would like Black to match some other effects.

I am not sure whether the software is determining the colour of the shadow
based on the font colour and the backing colour (or am I just paranoid??).

Does anyone know how to change the shadow colour of a font in a text box?

You can't change the shadow color in the font format dialog. WordArt might be an
alternative. Another method would be to copy the first text box, paste, change
the color of the font and nudge until you get the shadow in the correct place.
You would need to change the wrap to none.

Hello Mary

thanks for that it did work with a lot of a lot of pushing and pulling but
it is too much work for my simple task so I am just going to use flat text,
which is a shame.

Where is the suggestion box so that this basic function can be recommended
in Publisher 2010?

Thanks again.
