I operate publisher 2007 to create web sites. The sites always look good in
Internet Explorer but when viewed in Firefox and other Internet Explorer the
type looks awfull and the whole site looks poor.

Any ideas.

Post a link to your site. Our crystal ball is not working.

Also be specific about what is not looking good and which versions of IE are
your talking about.

And finally did you install the Office 2007 SP2?

Yes, ideas ... I tried and enjoy MS Visual Studio/Web Developer Express,
(free). It's more than WYSIWYG. It includes allot of code snippets, and
compiles more versatile web page content, using .NET framework to allow
server deployed projects like user-inputs, forms, etc. that you can test out
