Publisher 7 Masterpage hyperlinks dont work in Safari or FireFox

I created a master page and applied to 18 pages. The hyperlinks work fine in
IE however they do not work in Safari or Firefox.

The normal hyperlinks made on the individual pages work fine.

Is there a fix or do I need to get rid of master page.

Unfortunately, get rid of the master page. It just does not work as expected
in a web publication.
