publisher 95 files can't be opened by publisher 2003/7

Please help me, I have several books and manual I wrote in publisher 95, I
can't seem to be able to open them with publisher 2003/7 I have windows
vista. and another old comp with xp pro. Please advice on what can I do. I
don't have the publisher 97 install disk anymore.
How can I rescue all that information I have.

I can convert your files, you will lose formatting. Have you tried Open, Files
of Type, Recover text from any file?

If you want, send the files to me or put them on a web site where I can download
them.

I found a way to retrive the text, but some of the files will need spelling
editing. it's ok. it's a pity that microsoft didn't realized that some of us
could have valuable info. in older files. I never thought I would need to
update the files due to compatibility.

Thanks for your offering, I think I can do what you can. But the design
will be lost.
and I will have to create the graphics all over again. many of my manuals
had visual data, like pictures, graphs, etc.

I can recover your images. I do have Publisher 95 along with every other
version.
