Publisher can not save file

E

YEah, that is what I did yesterday, but I had created over 1000 in 10 min.
That totalled up to 1.04 gb. That was right after I first emptied my temp
folder.

R

Rob Giordano \(Crash Gordon®\)

That's a lot. You sure you killed the worm?
Do you use AdAware or Spy Bot Search & Destroy or any other good spyware killer? If not your should.

I am not positive I killed it, but it seems like I have. I use both, and MS
Antispyware. Nobody detected anything. Not even AVG until a reboot and my
computer sat over night. Then it found the worm on it's first scan this
morning.

msconfig looks ok to me. I didn't see any crazy strings in anything. My temp
folder now seems to be under control now as well. According to AVG, the virus
I had was I-Worm/Mytob.hk, 3 files with it in my system volume. Since they
have been deleted I have had no problems now. Thanks..

The virus probably caused the massive temp filage, and that probably caused
the problems in Publisher.

Be vary careful when opening email attachments - that is probably where this

Yeah, our whole company server got e-mails like that. But supposedly
everything was fixed. I guess not. Atleast it is now.

I use the free version of AVG by Grisoft at home, and we HAD the paid
version on 16 nodes at work, and it's FLAWLESS. At least in my experience. I
recommend it over the other two ANYTIME of the day. It's not a resource hog
like the others, and it doesn't mess with Office.

experience.
| I
| | recommend it over the other two ANYTIME of the day. It's not a resource

Since
