publisher stays when removing office 2003 beta

M

Miguel

Running Xp pro.
When installing Office 2003 all the uninstalling of the
beta version happens but publisher stays there no matter
what you do (uninstalling from Add/remove programs doesn't
work, neither repair, nor reinstalling the beta and
uninstalling again).
Please please please help
(Although I new the risks of using a beta no need to tell
me to format, I don't need that kind of wise information ;)
Please please please help

By the way, the publisher installer crashes with "windows
installer terminated prematurely", and the error message
from Ad or remove programs is "The I/O operation has been
aborted because of either a thread exit or an application
request"

Are you installing a version of Office 2003 that includes Microsoft
Publisher 2003?

It may come down to it!

However to my knowledge there have been no issues raised to date with any
problems of UN-installing the beta of Publisher 2003.

You are a virgin poster for this problem!!!

Hence why we cannot help you.

The answer is Yes

Any hope?

Nobody here has previously brought up a problem here about Publisher 2003
beta.

Those are Office beta, not Publisher. To my knowledge Publisher has not
been an issue otherwise we would have had questions here.
