publisher wont open after virus

I recently recieved a w32. welchia virus and Publisher
will not open properly. It gives me this error
about "please wait while windows configures microsoft
office 2000 sr-1 disk 2"
please help!!! thank you

Have you re-installed Publisher?
If you have, you will need the removal program MSCIU.EXE which can be found
on the www.microsoft.com Office 2000 Installer Clean-up.

Follow the instructions supplied with the download and then download the
Windows Installer ver. 2.0 and install that, then re-install Publisher.
