Publisher won't save, hangs up

Suddenly Publisher 2003 won't save a file, any file. No error message but the
program hangs up. Also I can open a file from a link but not from the "open
file" icon. Reinstalling didn't help. I hardly ever use Excel, but
apparently it's happening there too. Virus protection is up to date.
Wordperfect works fine, it must be MS related. Help!

Did you install the latest security updates that were offered this week? Some
folks are having issues with KB908531. Uninstall it from the control panel, Add
or Remove Programs, at the very top check show updates. I had the same issue and
this worked for me.
