I have written a 84 page handbookin A5 size.
A) On many pages I am left with split words, where the program automatically
splits a word to fit into the printed area.
Can I turn this feature off?
B) I have a committe members table that includes photos & addresses of 10
people.
One person's address comes up with double line spacing - any ideas how I can
turn this off.
Many Thanks

Are you asking about hyphenation? Tools, language, hyphenation. You could make
the text box longer or right-click the text box, format text box, text box tab,
set the bottom margin to zero.

Or... Format, AutoFix text, click best fit.

The line spacing, highlight the text, format, paragraph, Line spacing, set to
1sp.

Mary,
Thanks very much
Point A sorted
Point B - Followed your suggestion, every one of the 10 cells in the table
has these settings, but for one reason the text in one cell has additional
spacing.
Any additional ideas??
Really appreciate your help.

Look in the paragraph setting, see if there is a number in the before and after
paragraphs. Both these boxes should have 0pt. Are you sure there isn't a return
after the first line in the troublesome cell?

Glad it is all sorted out for you, Tom. Thanks for posting your success, it is
appreciated.
