Publishing limited information

My company has the task of managing projects from many
different companies for one customer. We are setting up a
server with 2002 and I found that my resource table will
get poluted with resources that I don't want or need. And
the other companies wind up with changes in their Global.

I need the other companies to publish only task name,
timeline, duration and % complete to the server. I don't
want them to get stuck with my Global or resources.

Is there a way?

Chances are you can come up with a combination of server settings, project
standards, and SOPs that will yield the results you're looking for. You're
not likely to get a simple "here's how to do it" reply based on the sketchy
facts you've provided and the ultimate complexity of your requirements. So,
the best anyone can say on this basis is "it depends."
