Publishing Problem. With folders structure.

Hello :
I am using FP 2003 to publish my website.
When I publish....here is what appears in the 2 windows.
In the left window which is the website on my local drive
has a folder called wwwRoot.
On the right window pane which is the actual website on
the hosting server the www.Root folder is not there ...but
instead... see the actual sub folders and files . That
means it is missing a level. The 2 windows are 1 step out
of sinc.

When I go to the control panel on my website and look at
file manager...I see exactly the folder structure
identical to folder structure that is there on my hard
drive. How can I get the structure back in Sync ??
Thanks for all the help !
Kirti

You won't see the root folder on your "published" site because the root folder is what you have
open.
You shouldn't see it on your local site either. You should see a list of files and folders "in the
root" but not the root folder itself in that list of files.

In other words, if your local web / web folder is named myweb and myweb has the blue globe on the
folder, when you open myweb in FrontPage you will never see myweb in folder view because it is the
folder you have opened.

It sounds to me as if you've added an extra layer or a subweb in your local web.
