Publishing to Adobe Acrobat Professional 7 from Word 2007 Beta 2

When I try to save a Word file to pdf format, I get the following message:
"The export failed. The document could not be prepared for exporting.
I have tried saving the document in both the new format and the 97-2003
format but neither works (I get the same message either way). The document
is long, has tables and pictures and headers and footers and so on, but I had
no problems converting the file using Office 2003. Dont know what to do and
would appreciate any advice.

You don't need Acrobat to make a PDF file from Word 2007. Just
"Save As" a PDF file in Word 2007.

When I "save as" a pdf file is when i get the message saying the file can't
be exported. that is the problem.

I had in fact reported this problem to Microsoft (via the frowny face thing).
But of course that doesnt solve the problem.

However, I also found a solution, which was to PRINT the document to Adobe.
this doesnt fix the "Save As" problem, but it did allow me to accomplish what
i wanted. I Got the idea from the Adobe website. This may work for others
having the same problem i had.
I should mention that some pages didnt publish to Adobe quite right
(images), so i deleted those images - not ideal but it's all I could do. --

My copy of Acrobat Pro 7 simply kept wanting to reinstall itself. I finally
gave up and uninstalled my Adobe products completely...there is still alot of
work to be done here by both MS and Adobe.
