Publishing to server

Using the server in a Diocese in my area, I published a web site and had no
problem doing so. When I try to publish a second site, the publishing page
shows the second sites files on the left and the first sites files on the
right. I was given the same login and password for both sites as well as the
same IP #. If I publish the second site, it will overwrite the first site
and that would not be right. Am I doing something wrong or is the problem on
the server end?

Did you use File | Publish Site and enter the correct domain? If you used
just the "Publish" command, it will publish to the last site rememembered.

If you were given the same IP address then you're publishing to the first
site. You either need a different IP (and domain name) or make your second
site a subweb of your first.

Yes, that is the way I did it, through file/publish site. On the publish
page it comes up as showing the remote web site as my first one. When I
bring up the remote web site properties, I even change to the location to the
second site but it does not change the remote web site at the top that still
shows the first site.

Good catch on the same IP, Dan. I overlooked it.
