I have and existing Web Site set up in Publisher 98 and that worked without
any problem. However I have converted it to Publisher 2003.
The site contains hyperlinks to documents. When I test the web site on the
PC the site pulls in the documents as expected. However on uploading
eveything onto the server these connections no longer work. The additional
documents are all stored in the same folder as all the other stuff used by
the web site (Folder = Index-files). I have tried holding them in a separate
folder on the server, but all to no avail.
Looking at the HTML Code Publisher is telling it to look at my PC`s hard
drive, which of course it can`t do. ie C:My Diocuments/Gordon/Web
Site/Index_Files/document name
Looking at the Publisher 98 HTML code it appears to be pointing to a much
truncated address consisting of the folder in which the document is held ie
Index_files/document name.
As I say in Publisher 98 no problem, in Publisher 2003 no joy at all.
